Manifesting Board Game — A 10 Year Old’s Perspective
Hi! It’s Nat, the epic ruler of the universe! I’m Heather’s daughter and want to tell about the hilarious manifesting game that Angelina’s daughter and I were playing: Electronic Monopoly, which uses credit cards instead of paper money.
We played normal for a while, but then we decided to bend the rules a bit. Before it was either of our turns, we would take the dice and turn them over to the exact number that we wanted the other person to roll and say, “You’re going to land on THIS,” inserting whatever number it was. We didn’t really believe it, of course. But then it started to work and we went to town.
If I wanted her to roll a5 and she wanted to roll a 2, a 5 and 2 would roll. We were always looking up to the ceiling and shouting, “Stop being diplomatic, angels!” then bursting into giggles. She really wanted to roll a fifteen, even though she knew it wasn’t possible to roll anything over twelve, because New York Skyline was open and she had the only other dark blue property . Then, when she finally did her turn, a 1 and a 5 rolled next to each other. From her angle, a fifteen. She landed on one of my most expensive hotels but still…
My luck dried up eventually. She just cleaned me out. By the time we both quit (two days later) she had about $100,000,000 — and you start out with $15,000,000. I ended up with $10,000, which is the lowest the Monopoly credit machine let you go. I felt a little bitter afterwards but almost the entire time that I was being pounded we were rushing to the living room and giving Mom (Heather) and Angelina constant updates, mostly along the lines of, “OK, this is hilarious! She JUST got the New york Skyline and put a hotel on there and right after that I got two cards saying to go to the New York Skyline IN A ROW!”
Hilarious. It was awesome.
