The Lower Chakras and Getting Your Sexy Back

It almost seems inevitable.  We’re young and cute, then we become moms and turn all of that make-it-look-cute energy onto our kids instead of our­selves.  We put on a few, and our clothes get more…mom-ish.  Then we put on a few more, and look­ing cute and feel­ing sexy is far, far down on our pri­or­ity list.  Like, so far down that we can’t find it.

Like many metaphysically-focuses women, I’ve done all kinds of men­tal and emo­tional clear­ing.  I’ve exam­ined, unearthed, reframed and affirmed.  I’ve cried, yelled, pounded and cheered.  Through all of that, my focus has almost always been on my inter­nal state, my rela­tion­ship with myself.  My grad school pro­gram in Spir­i­tual Psy­chol­ogy taught me over and over that “how I deal with myself as I go through the issue IS the issue.  So, so true!  And yet…

Some­how I kind of for­got about my body in all of this.  My sexy was long gone.

Enter Mar­garet Lynch’s “7 Lev­els of Wealth Man­i­fes­ta­tion” pro­gram.  We Mamas are LOVING this pro­gram!  Mar­garet uses EFT to clear the chakras, and all of the issues that reside in, and clog up, each of them.  The title is focused on “wealth man­i­fes­ta­tion”, which is also a won­der­ful result of clear­ing the lower chakras, but it would be mis­lead­ing to think that the pro­gram was just about money.

As I’m clear­ing the next layer of what is avail­able to be cleared in the lower chakras, I’m find­ing my sexy again.  Not loud, cleavage-bearing, vamp sexy.  Real sexy.  The kind of sexy where I feel beau­ti­ful even when my hair is a mess and I’m in mom-clothes because I feel the power and beauty of who I am.  The kind of sexy where I don’t DO any­thing dif­fer­ent, but a stranger makes com­ments about my “beau­ti­ful blue eyes” (which are really hazel, but I’ll take it!)

I’m enjoy­ing recon­nect­ing to this part of myself.  This part that feels youth­ful and alive and like the me that I remem­ber.  Hello again, beau­ti­ful, alive, vibrant Me.  Wel­come back!
