About the Mamas

The Meta­phys­i­cal Mamas was birthed on the premise that we wanted a place for like-minded, like-hearted women to come together — to learn, chat, grow, share.  To talk about kids, rela­tion­ships, our bod­ies, food, money and what­ever else pops into the con­ver­sa­tion.  Most of all, we envi­sioned a place where we could com­mu­nally talk about all of these in the con­text of our meta­phys­i­cal beliefs.

We know that all of life is energy and that when we’re in align­ment with our Higher Selves we’re a vibra­tional match for attract­ing all that we desire.  We know that we are divine beings hav­ing a human expe­ri­ence.  We know that there is no good or bad, just expe­ri­ences designed to give us con­trast to more fully real­ize what it is that we want.  We know that this is a rich, lov­ing, abun­dant Uni­verse pow­ered by an awe­some God who adores us.  We know that all is well, all the time.

We’re nor­mal moms, just like you, doing our best to live more fully as our true divine selves while in the midst of doing laun­dry, rais­ing kids and run­ning busi­nesses.  You can read a bit about each of us below, or for fuller sto­ries you can click on the drop-down menu for our indi­vid­ual “About” pages.

Angelina Hart is cur­rently play­ing the role of a home­school­ing sin­gle mom that loves to travel around the world with her two daugh­ters, doc­u­ment­ing it through The Lit­tle Trav­el­ers. She loves con­stantly find­ing a new per­spec­tive from which to see things.  She received an MA in Spir­i­tual Psy­chol­ogy in 1996 and has been expand­ing her con­scious­ness ever since.  Hav­ing lived in Asia for some time, she par­tic­u­larly loves bridg­ing East­ern & West­ern prac­tices, thoughts, and per­spec­tives.  Com­ing together with like-minded mamas with the inten­tion of expand­ing thought is her favorite thing of all.   See “About Angelina” for more..

Heather King holds a MA in Spir­i­tual Psy­chol­ogy, with addi­tional stud­ies in Coun­sel­ing Psy­chol­ogy and Soul-Centered Lead­er­ship.  She is hap­pily mar­ried to her sweetie of nearly 20 years, and has two delight­ful daugh­ters — a tod­dler and a ‘tween.  She is now a stay-at-home mom who also co-writes and co-produces for the inde­pen­dent film com­pany she shares with her hus­band.  One of their films, “Awak­en­ing”, was selected by the Spir­i­tual Cin­ema Cir­cle to be dis­trib­uted to like-minded movie-lovers in over 80 coun­tries.  See “About Heather” for more…
